Keri-Keri 2026 recap.

Since February this year we have had some “busy times”, but also some “not so busy times” - due to a large amount of rain.

At the end of August, we have had 320.5mm fall. This is nearly our annual average with a third of the year still to come.

The rain has been fantastic and the amount of feed unbelievable. However, the water has seemed to just sit in low spots, and this has made moving sheep long distances or mobs past one another difficult.

Consequently, our normal program is almost 7 weeks behind.

The rain kept coming which made lamb marking mustering near impossible and the job dragged out.
