With Katharina and her family members visiting it was great having the extra help when soon after shearing and disease testing Rachel Chirgwin from Advance Livestock Services was here to take the young ram’s weights, EMD, fat score and scrotal circumferences.

Rachel brought Work Experience student Bella Pratt with her so we were spoilt for manpower this year - Andrew was certainly outnumbered by the girls.

In the many years Rachel has been visiting it has always been busy days to get the job finished before she needed to move onto the next place; however this time we finally managed to enjoy sunset views, drinks and nibbles at the end of the day, at our woolshed dam.
